About the Journal

The Journal of Diabesity (JoD) is a peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal dedicated to advancing research and clinical knowledge at the intersection of type 2 diabetes and obesity. Recognizing the growing global burden of diabesity, JOS serves as a platform for high-quality publications that explore the mechanisms, management, and public health implications of this dual epidemic.

The journal covers a wide range of topics including insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and MASH (metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis); obesity management through lifestyle interventions, pharmacotherapy, and bariatric surgery; and emerging insights in nutrition, endocrinology, and lifestyle medicine.

JoD welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, clinical case reports, and expert perspectives aimed at informing clinical practice and guiding future research. The journal supports a multidisciplinary audience of clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals seeking evidence-based strategies to prevent, manage, and reverse diabesity and its complications.
